Job Description
The Responsibilities of the Role:
- The Service Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with the Authority, overseeing all service management activities and providing ongoing business and technical assistance.
- This role includes resource planning, schedule management, task delegation, and ensuring alignment with Authority project deliverables.
- The Service Manager must also be adept at managing Azure cloud environments and resolving infrastructure issues in line with business requirements.
The Service Manager shall perform the following duties:
- Creating resource plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources according to the Authority project schedule.
- Delegating the tasks within the work scope to the Service Team members.
- Making effective decisions to assist the Service Team to perform the tasks and monitoring the task progress.
- Adjusting schedules and targets align with the Authority project schedule.
- Schedule the Monthly review meeting with the Authority before 10th of each upcoming service month.
Skill Requirements:
- Excellent command of spoken & written English and Mandarin is added advantage.
- Good multitasking ability.
- Excellent computer knowledge: MS Office including MS Outlook and surfing the internet for information/research.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fast typing skills (minimum 35 words per minute).
- Preferably with contact center background.
- Project coordination and resource planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Speak with good pace, articulate and have clear pronunciation.
- At least 3 years related hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure App Services).
- Proficiency with hybrid environments integrating Windows Server and Azure.
- Degree, or an equivalent professional qualification in any principle.
